Heritage Preservation through Stamps

India Post released se-tenant block set of four stamps. This issue was to commemorate the work of INTACH - The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. INTACH is an institute which deals with the conservation of Art and Cultural heritage of India.These particular stamps are dedicated to the work done by INTACH. They depict four extremely valuable sites of Indian preserved by INTACH viz Jaisalmer Palace - Rajasthan, Mongyu Monestry - Ladakh, St. Anne Church – Goa and Quila Mubarak – Patiala. The stamps come in Rs.5 denomination depicting the image of each monument.
India Post is totally into preserving the Cultural Heritage of India.
